About Sifted
Sifted is provided by AI for All, LLC (“Sifted,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Sifted helps you import, create, organize, adapt, plan groceries for, and cook recipes. Contact us at support@siftedchef.com.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, activity under your account, and maintaining access to your sign-in method. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Sifted unlawfully or to violate another person’s rights.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the service’s operation.
- Attempt to bypass limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the service except as allowed by law.
- Use automated means that place an unreasonable burden on Sifted.
- Submit content you do not have the right to use.
Your content
You keep the rights you have in recipes, notes, photos, and other content you create or submit. You give us permission to store, process, adapt, and display that content, including through providers working for us, only as needed to provide and protect Sifted and to carry out the sharing or AI features you choose. This permission ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except where these terms or our Privacy Policy explain that a copy or record may remain.
Recipes, images, and other material from third-party sites remain subject to their creators’ rights. Importing a link or saving a recipe does not transfer those rights to you or Sifted. You are responsible for content you submit and for following applicable law and the source’s terms. Contact us if you believe content in Sifted infringes your rights.
Recipe sharing and collaborative cookbooks
A recipe share link is unlisted, not restricted to a named recipient. Anyone with an active link can view the shared recipe without an account. A signed-in recipient who saves it receives an independent copy. Revoking the link stops future access through that link but does not remove copies already saved, screenshots, or previews made by other services. You choose whether a private dish photo is included.
A cookbook invitation may be forwarded and claimed by the first eligible recipient. Members can see live recipes contributed to the cookbook. A contributed recipe remains in the contributor’s personal kitchen, and third-party material remains subject to its creator’s rights. Leaving or removing a member withdraws that member’s contributions from the shared cookbook without deleting their personal recipes. Share only material you have the right to make available to those recipients.
Food, nutrition, and AI information
Recipes, cooking guidance, nutrition estimates, substitutions, and AI-generated or AI-assisted content are provided for general informational purposes. Imports may miss details, and AI-generated content may be inaccurate or similar to content given to other users. You are responsible for food safety, allergies, dietary restrictions, ingredient suitability, cooking temperatures, and verifying results before relying on them. A photo cannot establish that food is safe to eat. Sifted is not medical or nutritional advice.
Free and paid features
Free accounts may have usage allowances for successful recipe Sifts and Chef replies in each account cycle. Trial and Premium access add unlimited Sifts and Chef replies and Nutrition details, subject to reasonable security and abuse protections. Grocery lists, cookbooks, collaboration, and recipe sharing do not require Premium. Current limits and included features appear in the app and may change prospectively with notice when appropriate.
If you purchase a subscription in the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store handles payment, renewal, cancellation, and any refund request under its applicable terms and local law. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through the purchasing store. Any eligible trial, its length, the full price charged afterward, and the billing period are shown before purchase. Trial eligibility is determined by the store and may not be available to everyone.
Canceling a subscription normally ends renewal rather than immediately removing already-paid access, subject to store rules and applicable law. Deleting your Sifted account does not cancel a store subscription. Review and cancel it in Apple or Google account settings before deleting your Sifted account. Web access can reflect a subscription purchased through a store, but Sifted does not sell subscriptions on the web.
Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as Sifted evolves. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some imports depend on third-party websites and may stop working when those services change or restrict access.
Termination
You may stop using Sifted and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address a material violation of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sifted is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. AI for All, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of Sifted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Sifted will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to a different mandatory forum under applicable law will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms as Sifted changes. We will post the revised terms here and update the effective date. Continued use after the new terms take effect means you accept them.
